Paris, 25 March 2026 – Sopra Steria, a major player in Tech in Europe, announces a partnership with Qevlar AI, a pioneering company in agentic artificial intelligence for Security Operations Centers (SOC). This collaboration aims to enhance Managed Detection & Response (MDR) services with targeted automation capabilities, designed to improve the operational efficiency of SOCs while meeting the growing demand for European digital solutions.
As cyber threats continue to grow in volume and sophistication, traditional SOCs are reaching their limits. Analysts spend a significant portion of their time triaging alerts — a large proportion of which are false positives — at the expense of detecting truly critical incidents. In many environments, thousands of alerts can pass through a SOC each day: this operational noise consumes a significant share of teams' capacity and can divert their attention away from critical incidents.
Sopra Steria brought in Qevlar AI to automate false positive identification and reduce operational noise. Evaluated by Sopra Steria analysts under real-world conditions, the solution demonstrated, within the analysed scope, a capability of up to 100% automatic identification of false positives, as well as a significant reduction in operational noise and an improvement in processing time.
Beyond the technical performance, this partnership reflects a shared ambition: building a Managed Detection & Response service that gives clients access to high-performing European technology, including for AI use cases with direct operational impact. In this context, the false positive automation use case plays an essential role, as it addresses one of the most critical challenges facing today's SOCs.
Qevlar AI is deployed on European infrastructure to ensure that its clients' data remains hosted in a trusted environment. Developed and operated in Europe, the platform integrates with existing SOC tools — including SIEM, EDR, and XDR — with an approach designed to adapt to demanding operational environments.
Concretely, this integration allows the relevant Sopra Steria clients to reduce the operational workload of their SOC by up to 20% within the observed scope, while improving teams' ability to absorb the continuous increase in volumes and to focus their efforts on higher-stakes incidents.
AI does not replace the analyst, it gives them their job back. With this use case powered by Qevlar AI, we demonstrate how automation can refocus human intelligence on high-stakes incidents. This use case perfectly illustrates the promise of augmented MDR: greater relevance, greater responsiveness, and a cyber defence that continuously improves," comments Sabrina Delcroix, CTO Managed Detection & Response at Sopra Steria in France.
"This collaboration with Sopra Steria represents further validation of Qevlar AI's operational impact. Major MDR players face an increasingly complex equation: continuously rising volumes, pressure on teams, and growing demands for quality. We address this reality with measurable results in operational environments," adds Hamza Saya, CTO and co-founder of Qevlar AI.
